NATIONAL ADVOCACY
SEMINAR
Bangladesh, India and
Nepal

 CUTS in association with
project partners organised the National Advocacy
Seminars in all the project countries under the
project entitled, ‘Capacity Building on Electricity
Reforms in Bangladesh, India and Nepal’ (RESA) to take
the project findings to relevant stakeholders such as,
polity, media, regulators, etc.
The National Advocacy Seminar for the state of West
Bengal and Rajasthan was organised in Jaipur while for
Bangladesh and Nepal was organised in Dhaka and
Kathmandu respectively. These seminars facilitated and
helped in developing a network between and amongst
policy community, regulators, civil society
representatives, media, etc. on challenges that needs
to be addressed with regards electricity reforms.
