Udai Mehta |
|
Coming from a law
background, Udai Singh Mehta did his LLM in
International Economic Law from The University of
Warwick, UK, while doing his LLB from University of
Calcutta. Udai has worked in the area of Competition
Policy and Intellectual Property Law. Before joining
CUTS, Udai worked for a law firm based in India on
Corporate and Intellectual Property Right matters.
Udai is currently developing a project on
competition policy & law for the Caucasus region. He
is also responsible for monitoring national and
international policies on competition and regulatory
issues, assisting in organizing and attending
project related events and contributing to general
fundraising.

Alice Pham
studied Law at the Institute for International
Relations, Hanoi, Vietnam. Prior to her involvement
with CUTS, she has worked with the Ministry of
Justice of Vietnam in a project on developing a
comprehensive legal system for the country. She has
been working exclusively on competition policy and
law issues and has been coordinating a major CUTS
multi-country project entitled "Advocacy and
Capacity Building on Competition Policy and Law in
Asia", implemented in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India,
Lao PDR, Nepal, and Vietnam. She has four years of
working experience and has written a number of
publications, which were published by CUTS as well
as in academic journals and edited volumes.
Presently, she is coordinating the activities of
CUTS fourth overseas office at Hanoi – Hanoi
Resource Centre - an offshoot of the 7Up2 project.

Vikash Batham |
|
Vikash Batham
did his Graduation in Commerce with Financial
Management and Economics as main subject from
University of Rajasthan, and Diploma in advance
computing from CDAC Chandigarh. He is presently
pursuing Masters in Economics from IGNOU. He has
experience of working for 4+ years in the areas
of IT enabled services (ITES), Entrepreneurship
and development in both corporate sector and
civil society organisations. Vikash has been
working with CUTS Centre for Competition,
Investment and Economic Regulation since 2004 as
Programme Officer, his responsibilities includes
project coordination and implementation both
national and international level, research
assistance, collection of primary and secondary
data, Liaising with research institutions,
academic organisation and other stakeholders and
coordinating various other activities of the
centre.

Cornelius Dube
recently joined
CUTS CCIER (Centre for Competition, Investment
and Economic Regulation) as an Economist in
November 2007. Before working for CUTS
International, he worked for over three years
for the Competition and Tariff Commission, the
competition authority for Zimbabwe. He was
serving as a Chief Economist at the time of his
departure from the Commission. Being actively
involved in the core functions of the
Competition Division of the organisation, he has
significant experience in the area of
competition policy implementation. He has a
Masters Degree In Economics from the University
of Zimbabwe, obtained in 2004, and also holds a
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree In Economics
(University of Zimbabwe) obtained in 2002. His
current responsibilities include collection and
analysis of primary as well as secondary data,
preparing research reports, writing briefing
papers, discussion papers, monographs, viewpoint
papers, fact sheets etc.
