‘CCI to clear proposed legislation on SEZs Act,
2011’

To ensure federal and provincial consensus on
investment promotion, the forthcoming meeting of
the Council of Common Interest (CCI) would
deliberate and clear the proposed legislation on
Special Economic Zones (SEZs) Act, 2011, said
Minister of State and Board of Investment Chairman
Saleem Mandviwalla.

for finance ministry control over FDI policy

The external affairs ministry has backed the
finance ministry’s move to take administrative
control of the country’s FDI policy. The finance
