Algeria Submits Price Controls Law

Intel seeks settlement in FTC antitrust suit

Intel Corp. is seeking to suspend trial proceedings in an antitrust suit filed against it by the US Federal Trade Commission, in order to negotiate a settlement. The FTC sued the semiconductor giant in December 2009, alleging "anti-competitive tactics" that have stifled innovation. Intel has filed a joint motion with the FTC that would open a window, "during which time the parties will review and discuss a proposed consent order." <<More>>
