of Hungary has amended the Competition Act to introduce a new
incentive in the fight against cartels. From April 01, 2010 an
individual who has knowledge of a price-fixing or
market-partitioning hardcore cartel and secretly informs the
Competition Office, supplying essential written evidence, will
receive an informant's fee.
